Direct Flow Tube Collector
 

The direct flow pipe collector is composed of two modules, one is direct flow vacuum tube and another one is manifold. The direct flow vacuum tube can also be called concentric double-pipe vacuum tube, which is made of glass tube, heat-absorb wing, direct flow pipe and metal cover. The work principle of this vacuum tube is as follows: The medium (like anti-freezing water or soft-water) in the system flows into the inner pipe which located in the manifold from the manifold inlet, then comes into the direct flow pipe along the inside pipe in the vacuum tube. In the vacuum tube, the heat-absorb wing with the selective absorption layer will transfer the absorption energy to the system medium according to the metal medium, then the heated system medium flows out through the clearance between the direct flow pipe and the inside pipe, and exchange the energy with the medium (water) in the water tank, so the temperature of the water in the tank will be up.

The advantages of the direct flow pipe collector: 1. The medium and the direct flow pipe exchanges the energy directly, so the heat collecting effectiveness is very high, and without the problem of performance recession. 2. Because of the forced circulation of medium, you can disposal the collector tube conveniently. You can get more energy just by rotating the vacuum and make it face to the sun directly. 3. Compare to the heat-pipe collector, you can get a high collecting effectiveness no matter you install it horizontally or vertically. So it is very suit for the veranda-installed solar water heater, and can solve the installation problem for the high-stairs effectively. 4. Able to endure the high pressure, Able to be deployed neatly-realize once heat exchange and twice heat exchange in enveloped state



The Principle of Thermosyphon

Because of the larger proportion of hot water than cold water, cold water flows downward and hot water goes upward. The water will be heated continuousl between water tank and vacuum tube. In other wards, hot water always floats on cold water.
The hot-water flows to the water tank from the vacuum tubes. Because of the proportion, cold water flows to vacuum tubes from the water tank.
The cold water is heated in vacuum tubes.After it becomes hot water, it flows to water tank again. The water circulates constantly between water tank and vacuum tubes; the cold water in water tank will be hotter and hotter.
Finally, all cold water will be heated to be hot water. This is the heating course of cold water.
